I am so so so excited about the NYX Canada launch today! Last night I attended the #NYXClassOf2016 Prom Inspired event. It was a beautiful and fun evening. It was so great to check out the stunning collection.
As a gift, guests were given the CUTEST vegan leather backpack – with their Beauty School Dropout palette, and an adorable colouring book and pencil crayons. Yes I love to colour my eyes as much as colouring in general so I was thrilled to receive this.
It is launching today at the Toronto Eaton Centre location !! This is NYX’s 3rd Canadian store! They are also giving away up to 1K prizes everyday ( May 13, 14 & 15 ) I am sure the launch at the Toronto Eaton Centre today will be packed full of beauty enthusiasts looking to perfect their summer looks.
I am so happy and thrilled to be working again with The Keg Steakhouse & Bar this Holiday Season.
In celebration of the Holiday Season, TheKeg has introduced me to 10 of their curated cocktails and martinis including but not limited to: Cranberry Mojito, a twist on the Dark and Stormy made with ginger, Pomegranate Royale perfect for festive celebrations and a new winter favourite, the Bourbon Maple Martini.
Having been invited to try our their menu, I stopped by for a quick bite and drinks and ended up having one of my most memorable meals of the week.
We started with delicious calamari, which paired with the jalapenos and lemon, eased into my mouth like butter – so perfectly delicious.
The drinks we ordered were the Blackberry Mule ( which was mine, so so good ) , we also ordered the Cranberry Mojito which paired well with the iceberg starter salad. I began with a Ceasar Salad.
We both had the Top Sirloin.. while this is an absolute must for me, I know many people that LOVE the prime rib. If you like one you are sure to love the other – what a great combination.
While too full for dessert – ( and heading to a party afterwards ) I am sure I will be coming back to the Keg for another Holiday Classic Cocktail.
As I have recently been into the red wines, it is a fun and beautiful addition to a steak dinner to include a Blackberry Mule or Cranberry Mojito into the mix.

Opening today is the Francis Bacon and Henry Moore exhibit at the AGO. I am so delighted that I was invited to attend the Media Preview of the paintings and sculptures, one of which graces the outside of the Art Gallery of Ontario. While different, the art meshed well together, providing chills from both the beauty and the frightening depictions from these two incredible artists. 20th century British artists have filled the space with wonder and will show what Britain has experienced for the generations to come.
The exhibit includes over 60 pieces of work. Suffering, and struggle are themes that we deal with on a day-today basis, from time to time, but this is something that you don’t just see but can experience what the artists are conveying.
